Description

CREATE YOUR WAY
Type, hand write, draw, and clip things from the web to get down your thoughts into your notebook. Use OneNote's flexible canvas to place content anywhere you want. You can even scan hand written notes or pages straight into OneNote then make them searchable.

GET ORGANIZED
OneNote is set up like a notebook to bring the familiar physical 3-ring binder to the digital era. Easily use sections and pages to separate out thoughts by theme at school, home or work. Not sure where you categorized something? Use our powerful search to look across all of your notebooks or just the page you're on to find what you're looking for, even words on pages you scanned into your notes. You can use tags to label to-do lists, follow up items, mark what's important or make custom labels. Use OneNote as a notebook, journal or a notepad. Organize in one place, from anyplace.

COLLABORATE WITH ANYONE
Share your notebook with whomever you want, such as your colleagues or family, and work on your projects together. OneNote syncs your notes across all devices and lets multiple people work on the content together, at the same time. Leave comments or tags to people to ask follow up questions, draw up your ideas, plan and journal the family vacation or check off the to-do list.

ACCOMPLISH MORE AT WORK
OneNote is great on your own or when you share with a team. Use it as a notepad for team meetings, brainstorming projects, draw attention to important points or organize key resources to never lose track of what you need. Work together in real time to stay in sync and on the same page. You can log in with 2 accounts at the same time to seamlessly move from work to personal and back. OneNote is available across your favorite devices, no matter what your team likes to use --Android, Apple or Windows-- you can still work together to get more done.

ACHIEVE MORE IN SCHOOL
OneNote is great for school for both students and teachers. Take your notes during class with ease, mixing in text, ink, and web clippings. Use OneNote to organize your brainstorms, draw mind maps and develop your ideas for your next school assignment. As a teacher, plan your lessons and have all the information you need right in your pocket and on the go.

BETTER TOGETHER WITH OFFICE
OneNote is part of the Office family and works great with your favorite apps, such as Excel or Word to help you do more.

NOTES AT THE SPEED OF LIGHT
Use the OneNote badge as a notepad to list your thoughts down no matter when something crosses your mind. The badge hovers on screen and lets you quickly write your thoughts down during a phone call, while on the web or wherever else your mind takes you. In addition to the badge you can launch OneNote from a home screen widget or pin a notebook or page straight to the home screen helping you dive in faster, right where you want.

great but would've been better if there was a range of paper sizes that we could choose from and paper styles; e.g. 5mm/in grids. you could also add in different fonts and sizes to choose from. I'm talking about something like goodnotes in apple but on onenote cuz it really kinda sucks not having a note-taking app as efficient as goodnotes !! I use this app to do note-taking btw Full Review

It helps me get organised. It is one of my favourite apps, i can write notes on my tablet, mobile or pc and the content is automatically synced. The tabs are awsome, its makes it much easier to find my notes. Inserting pictures from library or by taking pictures is another cool feature i use alot. The only thing i would add to one note is the possibility to set reminders. Full Review

I've been using OneNote since my university days over 10years ago (I used it to take notes in class on the old Gateway tablet PC that swivelled around; the one that weighed about 7lbs. Boy was that cool back then! Anyway, I digress.) Now, I carry it on multiple mobile devices (iOS and Android). My whole life in the last decade and half is journaled on OneNote. Yeah, I stopped carrying the pencil and leatherbound journals. OneNote is nice, could use a few changes, but it does serve it's purpose nicely. Full Review

One Note is my favorite app for everything from jotting down quick notes, to list making. It keeps me organized. I especially enjoy the share feature, which is a recent edition to the app. That feature alone has transformed a serviceable app into an outstanding app. I love it! I also must add that Customer Service is stellar, and has dealt with any of MY glitches in a prompt manner. Kudos to the maker of One Note! Full Review

Don't ask me to "show some love". Don't ask for five stars, earn them. I like the app, I find it useful and use it every other day if not every day. The update from stock has made the app more aesthetically pleasing and styling is infintely easier and not painful like it used to be. Four and a half slices of pepperoni pizza out of five. As an avid Google user I switched to this app while my Google Keep was crashing. I've only had it for 2 days. I can't see myself switching back to Keep. This is so user friendly and organized. Add the fact that it's simple (unlike Evernote) and this is a seriously the best note taking app I've used. Thank you Microsoft. Full Review

I've been using onenote since 2015 and all my documents are saved. I've changed devices but still I have not lost not one word. I've experienced new features and changes over these few years and that's impressive. I've marketed the app to a some people. I no longer write on paper because onenote makes it easy to to refer to the notes I took. Full Review

I have had one note on my laptop in the past and loved it. I really wanted this to work on my phone and tablet but it would never let me log in. I have a Samsung S8+ and a Samsung Tab A and each time I try to log in, I get an error message. I have tried the suggestions to get around this glitch and the error message still shows up. I'd love to be able to log into the app and give it the amazing review it deserves!! Full Review

Migrated from years of Evernote use. The migration took was very sadly slow -- took almost a full day -- but OneNote is so rich with features and usability compared to Evernote. Evernote still seems to have API dominance. So many more products and services connect to Evernote. OneNote is a much more reliable and useable workhorse, though. My single big problem with OneNote is that it's inextricably bound to Office365. There is no way to use it pay to use OneNote (not if you want cloud-stored notes) and not deal with the mechanics of where you notes are stored in OneDrive and how much space they take up. It would be nice to have an unlimited storage, for reasonable pay, OneNote product that was divorced from the mechanics of managing your note storage. Full Review

I love OneNote! The reason for 4 stars instead of 5, though, is that the app still doesn't allow creation and management of section groups. Considering the main program that is part of the office suite had this feature and the fact that the feature adds additional organizational capabilities to notes. I feel this is a critical feature. I was looking for an app that I could write game tips while using the computer and then be able to view then on my phone with or without internet and I searched until I found this one. I can do notes with colors, folders and different pages with differents content and also when I access it on phone I can draw or check the things I already did so I don't have to find where I left off. I really like OneNote on my PC laptop. The mobile version I find, at times, a bit 'clunky'. Not sure I can quite explain what that means. Sometimes, it can feel a bit disjointed, unconnected, as one moves around the mobile version. I'm still happy to have it to get notes down that I can work on later though. Definite improvement from where it was. Full Review

I liked OneNote on my Windows 10 devices so tried it out on Android and god this is a horrible app. All the features are present here, but while typing, the app crashes most the time and the typing is slow as hell. I have to minimize the app everytime I type something, for it to appear to the screen. Its not my phone because its a new one with SD 625 and 3gigs ram, so its an issue with the app. Please improve it, I enjoy it on W10 and would like to enjoy on Android too. Full Review

Review is only for the app. I initially loved the app as it was perfect for taking notes hassle free without having to use my laptop. However since the last few days the app has been nothing but a pain. It would freeze in between a task multiple times for a long duration and I would be unable to use my phone at all during that period. After freezing a few times, it would crash. I have tried reporting, relaunching, upgrading the app but nothing worked. If this continues then I definitely have to look for an alternate because all this app is doing currently is taking up my storage space Full Review

Great app to take notes! Love the feature where you can draw on your notes and mark stuff. Only issue is that it takes quite a while to sync across devices. It does appear the same on all your devices. You gotta select the notebook that needs synching on each device. Otherwise a top app for me! Full Review

I was really happy with how polished this app has recently become. It really is unfortunate that it is not consistent with the rest of the platform however. If there is a back button shown on the toolbar, it should be consistent with the back button on the phone. This is such a basic heuristic and I can only imagine results in people closing the app as soon as they open it all the time. Please fix Full Review

I'd give it 6 stars if I could. I use onenote for lecture notes on my surface and I love being able to access them on my phone. It's fast. If someone texts me a picture of a microscope slide I can add it into my onenote from my phone and it's instantly there when I open my computer. It's seamless, and it makes grad student-ing SO much more bearable. Full Review

The best app for notes in android I ever used :) . It gots many features of the windows onenote, and it can be syncd and be edited from windows/browser (by using onenote 360). Some small problems I've got are: 1. images cannot be resized 2. notebook name cannot be changed Also, I would be happy if you put this feature: an OCR that can identify all sort of symbols, like math equations for example Full Review

Basic editing functions are absent. Font size, different colours hilighting etc. This app is useless without these. App should match with the functions available in Microsoft word. Else it is as good as anything from some xyz company. All functions may not be used frequently by users but they are still needed. And new updates are useless. Full Review
